Hi friends, family, and anybody who’s had the chance to meet our dog Joey since his adoption.

Joey is a 5 year old rescue from Texas and was set to be euthanized last year. Since he was rescued he has found a loving home with us and loves licking faces, taking us on walks, fluffing blankets, and standing in front of your face when you’re trying to watch TV. Joey is a huge part of our lives and we could not picture it without him.

Recently Joey was taken to an animal eye specialist for a red bump in the corner of his eye that was rapidly growing and causing him pain/irritation. The specialist has informed us that he has a tumour growing in there that needs to be removed as soon as possible to minimize risk and long term damage. The cost of this procedure is already very high if everything goes well. This cost grows even more if the area abscess’s after the surgery.

It is out of the question that we would ever even considering putting down Joey because of a financial burden. He is a family member and we will pay any amount to make sure the surgery happens regardless. However if anybody would like to help us out with this bill in any amount it would be massively appreciated.
