As you all know, Joey Barney has been ill for 13 years battling colitis,primary sclerosis cholangitis. And with all the medication has damaged his liver and for the last 10 years , has been in need of one. Joey just turned 27 yesterday and this morning he received a miracle…..They have a liver for him!
This was a shock and now he has to be in Toronto by tomorrow at noon , for surgury at 5am on Wednesday morning.
Joey and his mother Wendy and girlfriend Isabelle will be going with him.
This go fund me to help with costs while they are in Toronto. They have been informed that he would have to be in the area for at least 3 weeks to 6weeks. So as we all know that this is extremely expensive without having an insurance. So if we can make life a little more easier for them , so they can focus on his recovery and not the extreme costs.
