Hi, my name’s Joey, and I’m excited to share that I’ve been given an incredible opportunity to take part in a once-in-a-lifetime expedition to Borneo in 2027 with my school and Camp’s International.

I’m really excited about this chance to make a difference — to help protect endangered wildlife, support local communities, and contribute to meaningful environmental and educational projects. During the expedition, I’ll be working in schools and villages, visiting an orangutan conservation centre, and even earning my PADI diving licence, which will give me skills to explore and understand the amazing marine life of Borneo.

This experience is about so much more than travel — it’s about learning, growing, and challenging myself. I’ll be developing new skills, gaining hands-on experience in conservation, and leaving a positive impact on the communities and environment I work with.

Now comes the challenging part — I need to fundraise over £6,000 to earn my place on this expedition. I’ve already started working towards this goal, and I’ve set up this JustGiving page to help kick things off.
