Stem Cell Transplant for Joe Harris

Joey, a single dad of 2 boys has Multiple Myeloma, diagnosed in 2009. He is in remission for the 2nd time. For the first time in years his health is strong enough the doctors are wanting to do a stem cell transplant.
He is on Medicare Disability but they are requiring him to have a spend down of $8,000.00 before they will move forward, which means he must have that amount of debt in medical bills - which he doesn't. This procedure is of upmost importance for his life and well being.
Once Joey is able to have the stem cell transplant, he will be in the hospital between 18 and 30 days.
