Hey all,

I am writing this and requesting support on the behalf of my best friend, Joey Vargas.

Joey is a well known individual in the service industry of NYC through American Whiskey and his other ventures, Brooklyn kickball, and our resident 49ers fanatic.

As some of you know, this past month he has been preparing for a move from Brooklyn to Ridgewood.

As he went to his apartment today to gather the rest of his belongings, his old apartment was broken into and robbed.

They took his winter coats, jackets, his pots and pans, (who the hell steals pots and pans?), other household items that he uses daily.

They took all of his motorcycle gear, including multiple helmets, which he uses to ride his beloved Emma.

These items were accumulated over many years and difficult to replace right now.

We are asking for help recouping some of the things he lost.

As you all know, moving is expensive in NYC and after such a big expense, it becomes even harder to replace these items.
