Hi, this is Dilansy (Joey's sister)! As most have heard, Joey and his daughter Shelby were involved in a terrible car accident near Aurora Colorado in the early morning hours of May 11. Shelby endured broken ribs and a concussion but has thankfully been released from the hospital. Joey has been placed on a ventilator due to the injuries he endured which include a punctured lung, a skull fracture, and a broken back, among many other broken bones and fractures. We are not one to ask for help, but any kind of help is appreciated at this time as Joey does not have Health Insurance and we the family will be taking turns traveling back and forth to be with him as he will be in the hospital for at least 60-90 days, and facing up to 5-7 surgeries or more.
