Joey Morone battle against Synovial Sarcoma
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Shannon Kelsey. My 19 y/o son Todd Kelsey was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma in April of this year. He has fought like a true warrior and is continuing his treatment. He makes our family so proud!
Yesterday, I received a devastating phone call from a dear friend of mine, Jaqueline Morone- RIce. Her 22 y/o son Joey Morone has recently been diagnosed with a rare round-cell pediatric form of Sarcoma called Synovial Sarcoma. Pediatric Sarcomas are agressive. They only represent 4% of the federal budget for cancer research.
Our community has been so kind to us. Benevolent friends, family and strangers wrapped their arms around us.
We are eternally grateful and vow always to pay it forward!
Today I ask you to join me in supporting Joey Morone, as this strong young man prepares for the battle of his life!
Joey recently moved to Austin to be closer to his family. He attended St Pius and Lawrence North in Indianapolis. Joey graduated in the top 30 students in his class at Lawrence North. He attended Purdue Univerity as well as Ivy Tech. The medical expenses for treatment and alternate opinions will be huge.
No amount is too small. Please share via social media or text link.
Whatever you can give will be a blessing for Joey! It will help him get back to life before his diagnosis. No family should have to fight pediatric cancer alone!
Please pray for Joey and his family as he seeks treatment and a path toward remission. I appreciate your support!
