Joey lit up rooms he entered with an energy only he could deliver, and was always a boisterous and comical voice. He had a huge heart, and had the ability to keep things lighthearted even in the midst of despair. During his journey he made marked impressions on those that knew him. Including many of those in the recovering community. Joey spent a significant time in sober living communities building life long friendships.
The Joey Koehler Memorial Fund was created to help alleviate the financial barriers of on going care in a sober living environment. Joey’s legacy will help those suffering from addiction rediscover hope. The Joey Koehler Memorial fund will be able to provide funds for sober living to those who would not have been able to afford it.
