Joey Eastlick

On June 25, 2022 Joey Eastlick was involved in a motor vehicle accident, which resulted in skull fractures and other injuries. Joey was rushed to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio and he is currently being treated under trauma services in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. Joey had suffered a few seizures and has been in a coma since the accident, which warranted routine CT scans to determine the extent of his injuries. The doctors found a small brain bleed and have been following up with more imaging to make sure the bleeding does not worsen. With this being said, Joey has a long road of recovery ahead of him and his family and friends are facing so much uncertainty. His family is concerned about his prognosis and how he will recover from these injuries, but are also under the stress of his personal bills and medical costs. I am starting this fundraiser in hopes that Joey’s family will not have to worry about finances and they can continue to focus on being at his bedside and supporting him through his recovery.

Joey is a full-time student and works full-time as well. Joey is the type of person who would take the shirt off his back for someone in need - without any hesitation. He and his fiancé, Chelsi, got engaged in August 2021 and are currently planning their wedding for September 2023. Chelsi is balancing a full-time job and being at Joey’s bedside; she will be supporting him and caring for him after this lengthy hospital stay.
