Hi my name is Scott Paxton and I am the Performance Lead for Oxfordshire LTA.

Joey and Izzy are two incredible 11-year-old twins who have recently lost their beloved mum, Bex, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Bex was a truly lovely lady – kind, warm, and devoted to her children. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her, but most of all by Joey and Izzy.

Despite everything they have been through, these two young people continue to show remarkable strength, determination, and passion in the things they love most.

Joey is a dedicated county performance tennis player who trains at Wantage, White Horse Tennis Centre, and North Oxford Tennis Club. He has proudly represented his county in County Cup since the age of 8/9 and continues to work incredibly hard at his game. Tennis is not just a hobby for Joey – it’s his passion and a huge part of who he is.

Izzy is a talented and committed dancer who trains in Wallingford. Performing is where she truly shines. Dance gives her confidence, joy, and an outlet to express herself, and she puts her heart into every class and performance.

The twins are now living with their grandparents, who are providing them with love, stability, and support during this unimaginably difficult time.

We are hoping to raise £4,000 to help cover the costs of their training, competitions, equipment, travel, and school activities.

Continuing with tennis and dance will provide Joey and Izzy with consistency, purpose, and positivity as they navigate life without their mum.

Any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference in helping these two young talents continue to pursue their dreams and maintain some normality during such a challenging chapter of their lives.
