Joevon Smith-Patterson's life was tragically cut short last week after a brutal assualt.  As a student with special needs, this 17 year old was allegedly bullied, taunted and beaten at school after denying other students access to his cell phone.  He died 19 days later.  This senseless violence has left a large hole in the lifes of his family members who have survived him.  

Two of Joevon's family members, Samaya and Rashonda, were also members of the HCR family in the Baltimore and Vienna offices.  As coworkers, we hope to help them and their family through this difficult time by providing support.  At this time, we are aiming to help offset the financial burden through funds raised on this page.
