Systemic Lupis Erythematosus is more serious than other forms of lupus. It is an autoimmune incurable progressive disease. It is a chronic inflammatory disease. SLE can affect many parts of a person's body including: kidneys, heart, lungs, brain, nervous system, fatigue, blood cells, mouth sores, and swollen lymph nodes. It can also cause severe joint and muscle pain and blood clots. With the exception of brain and lung function, she has and is experiencing all of the symptoms.
Recently due to SLE, a blood clot was formed that blocked the main artery of her heart 100% and caused a massive heart attack. At that time, a stint was installed. Now with added heart medications, it is complicating her total treatment, medical and prescription plan. Also, her kidney function is being compromised.
Because of the severity of her illness, she has lost her business and will be unable to return to work. Her insurance coverage is inadequate, which leaves her with many unpaid medical bills.
Please consider donating to Joette's medical fund to help with her treatment and her bills.
