This morning, 1/26/21, Joetta went to work just like any other weekday morning but received a devastating call. Her neighbors phoned to tell her that her home had caught fire. By the time Delphi Firefighters got to the house, it was engulfed in flames leaving little of even the structure behind. If this isn’t enough loss, even worse, precious Luna, Joetta’s best friend and sweet fur baby, was stuck in the house. It was too late, they were unable to find or save her. In less than a half hour, Joetta lost what many of us take for granted every single day. Her companion, the photos and handheld memories of her loved ones, a lifetime of possessions. It’s so hard to imagine life changing that quickly with any tragedy and have to face what the next day, week, months will look like. Joetta would give the clothes off of her back if she thought you needed them. I would love to be able to help my friend with the many expenses she is facing...from clothes, to medicine, to gas, home furnishings...to even small things to make her smile and laugh again.
