Joe Iles Motorcycle Accident

On June 29th, my aunt Mary Jo and Uncle Brian got the call that every is every parent’s worst nightmare. Their 19-year-old son was involved in a motorcycle accident and being air cared to UC in very critical condition.
Joe was on the interstate on his motorcycle, he switched lanes and the car in front of him slammed on their brakes causing Joe to slam on his, which then caused an SUV behind him to hit him into the wall. A truck behind the SUV swerved into the emergency lane to miss the SUV, and wound up getting Joe’s motorcycle and dragging it.
Joe coded twice on scene and was given CPR to restart his heart. He was immediately taken into surgery for severe internal bleeding. As of right now, he has lost a kidney and his spleen. His diaphragm is bleeding. His liver is still bleeding. His pelvis is shattered along with a broken leg and collar bone. He lost part of his colon. And has a traumatic brain injury.
