Joe's memorial skateboard bench, funeral etc.
Donation protected
First of all I never thought I'd ever be writing something like this. On the 28th February 2021 we tragically and suddenly lost the most amazing guy we could wish for Joseph Beaumont, not only was Joe a friend to us all but also a son, brother, nephew, grandson, cousin and uncle. But most of all he was a wonderful unique human being and the world is a less colourful place without him. To always remember him we'd like to raise enough funds to create a memorial bench/art installation involving skateboards, one of his passions, and that's the purpose of this page.
We would love to honour his memory by getting either a skateboard bench or a shelter up at Meltham skate park. All funds raised will be going towards the construction and installment of the bench and any extra will be put towards a proper wake but due to covid we will have to wait for things to settle and people can meet up properly. Joe was well known around Meltham and a big part of the Huddersfield skateboarding community, touching the lives of the many people he encountered and we would love to be able to give him a proper send off like he deserves.
Any donations are greatly appreciated as it is helping commemorate such a wonderful human being.
Thank you for all your support.
