Hi, my name is Tirzah Gerber and I am fundraising for my husband Joe.

On June 25, 2022, Joe was riding his motorcycle north on Hwy. 47 (near the Anoka County fairgrounds) when a minivan crossed the centerline and hit him head-on. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was taken to North Memorial Hospital - one of the best Level 1 Trauma hospitals in MN. Joe spent 24 days at the hospital where he had 5 different surgeries. Most first responders say Joe surviving this crash is a miracle!! His journey of recovery and healing continued at a Transitional Care Unit in Golden Valley for 30 days, and he has been at home since August 18th.
