On Tuesday, June 18th, Joe was involved in a serious car accident resulting in fractures to his T11 and T12 thoracic spine with spinal cord damage and internal injuries. This resullted in him being parlyzed from the waist down. This kind of injury is both life-altering and challenging, requiring extensive medical treatment and a long rehabilitation process.
