It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that I share Heaven has gained a beautiful Angel this morning (8/1). My Uncle Joe lost his swift battle with Covid after being diagnosed July 16th. He is now a Guardian Angel over all of us; including his wife Eva, daughters Jocelyn (19) and Evelynn (17), and sons Leo (15 tomorrow) and Lance (13). Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers, especially the kids...

If you knew Joe in any capacity, he would’ve considered you family. Family meant the world to him and he was the glue to ours. He has to be the most selfless person I know and would give you the shirt off his back if that’s what you needed. He wanted to see you smile, cause that’s what triggered his. I’ve never asked, but I’m positive Christmas was his favorite holiday. He was our Santa and made sure no kid or adult was left without a gift from him and his family. His smile would radiate the room seeing joy in everyone’s face and that’s what I’ll remember most.

I am hopeful that in his family’s time of need we can all put him first and help his family navigate this incredibly hard chapter in their lives. He would want nothing more than his family taken care of and I believe that we can all lend a hand in lifting the financial burden bestowed upon them.

These funds will go directly to Eva and the kids to cover any outstanding medical bills incurred, household expenses and help with funeral costs for Joe. Eva’s eldest daughter was also just released from ICU a few days ago. All help, big or small will be received with gratitude and will go a long way as expenses continue to stack up.
