Joe's Final Treatment: Your Support Matters
Donation protected
This is the last treatment option available for Joe... There is a private hospital in Arizona. This hospital will focus on an intense 3-step, 12-day inpatient stay. One step is building the immune system, implementing anti-tumor protocol, and detoxification. Unlike when a patient undergoes chemotherapy or radiation treatments, the goal is to strengthen the body while destroying each cancer cell and to balance out the body through detoxification methods that eliminate cancer waste. This is a private facility that insurance will not cover.
Recently, Joe had a 33-day inpatient hospital stay with rehabilitation at KU. While there, one of several tumors in his spine grew into his spinal cord, causing him to lose blood flow in the spinal cord. He had an emergency spinal infusion. Unfortunately, he still became paralyzed from the waist down, with no control of lower organs. The cancer had also spread into his brain and lower skull. Scans showed a tumor with a blood clot growing onto the facial nerve, causing him to be paralyzed on the left side of his face. Joe was told by several oncologists, "chemo" doctors at KU, MD Anderson, and Indiana University that there are no other treatment options available and his body isn't strong enough for chemo. They advised him to just go home, enjoy his family, and call hospice to come in. This is the only option left available to give Joe that fighting chance.
Joe is a fighter. He wants nothing more than to have a fighting chance to continue to be a God-fearing man, share his testimony, plant the seed of the Lord, and be the greatest husband and father to his two children. All prayers are welcome and appreciated.
