Joe's Family Needs Your Help After Trial

As many in the community are aware, the murder trial of Joe Ramirez has ended. His entire family attended every day of the trial and missed numerous weeks of work. They were not paid any wages for the days they missed work and it has put a huge financial burden on all of them, including Joe’s siblings and their families. This GoFundMe has been set up to help support them as they continue to go through the hardest days of their lives plus help them in their fight for bringing much needed changes in our broken judicial system. In doing this, they need to hire an attorney, which can be very costly. They know it may not change the outcome of the trial they’ve just endured, but they want to fight to bring change so others do not have to go through what they have been through. The Belton, Temple and surrounding communities have shown tremendous compassion and support for them as they’ve tried to navigate through the senseless murder of Joe, and they’ve been so grateful for those who have reached out to them throughout all of this.
