Hi and welcome to my GoFundMe page.
This summer I had the idea of training for and riding a 200-mile bike ride, as well as having the significantly better idea of doing it for a good cause. Over the course of one day I'm hoping to cycle from London to Brighton, to Oxford and back home to London again - hopefully in time for last orders at the pub. It'll be a very, very long day (setting off at 4am) as I didn't train as much as I'd been told to by all the articles I read, so please do consider donating to make the long hours of suffering worth it.
I'm doing this for Mind, an amazing charity who provide support for anyone experiencing problems with their mental health, whilst also raising awareness and campaigning to improve the quality of services we have in the UK. 1 in 4 of us suffer from a mental health problem every year and Mind do as much as they can to make sure no one has to do that alone.
As an added incentive, if we raise over £1750 I'll be adding to the suffering and waxing my legs so I can channel my inner pro cyclist as well as squeezing in a few aero gains. The ride will be sometime next week (beginning 27th September), most likely Monday, but I'll make sure to keep you all updated!
A huge thank you to anyone who donates, it means a lot!
Cheers
