Have A Heart for Joel

As some of you may know, last Friday Joel suffered a heart attack. We discovered that he had a 100% occlusion to his left coronary artery. On Saturday, he had emergency double bypass surgery. He will have a long road to recovery, which includes being out of work for 2-3 months. During this time, he will not have a paycheck coming in.
As expected, I had to miss a significant amount of time at work. My job is safe, in that I will be able to use FMLA and keep my position, however my paid time off is depleted.
So, in addition to high medical bills and copays, we will be be down to one check and any time that I have to take off will be unpaid. I was under the impression that I would be able to use "extended illness benefit" hours, but just learned today that is not the case. For this reason, I'm reaching out to all of you to ask you to help us in our time of need. Anything you can contribute will be GREATLY appreciated.
