My name is Tiana Johnson and I am raising this fundraiser for my Nephew Joel Trejo. Joel turned 5 on March 21, 2021. On July 14, 2021 Joel had his last breaths. He was the sweetest little boy and the purest soul. He didn’t get to experience his 8th grade dance. He didn’t get to go to prom. He didn’t get to learn how to drive or get to experience college. But on his 5 years of life he gave us the biggest smiles, the biggest hugs, the biggest kisses and the biggest laughs. He was a blessing in our of our lives and to see him go so soon is the worst pain we’ve endured. My brother and my sister in law are experiencing pain that no parent should ever have to experience.
With the fundraiser we are planing a balloon and candle lighting, and a beautiful memorial. For us all to come together and say our last goodbyes. The hardest goodbye we’ve ever had to do.
