One of my husband’s and I’s best friends, Joel Ulrich, was involved in an ATV accident on Saturday April 3rd. He was transported to Geisinger Medical Center as a trauma alert where he found out that he had suffered a compression fracture on his Lumbar 1 vertebrae. There is also pressure being pushed on the spinal cord. There was a miracle that it wasn’t inches up or down because it would’ve left him paralyzed.

Now Joel is forced to be off at least 8 weeks, possibly more to do physical therapy and rehabilitation for this. Originally thought, there may have needed surgery afterward, but it’s looks like that won’t be needed! 

So why are we writing? Joel would do anything to help out his friends in a time of need and we are hoping his friends will do the same for him! Eight weeks is a lot oftime to be off work and the bills are not going to stop coming in! We are asking that if you can, please contribute to his go fund me so he has some wiggle room while he takes this time to heal and recover!!! We love you Joel!!!
