To honour the memory of Joel Sycamore, we are raising funds to buy and install a memorial bench and plaque at Barbury Castle in Wroughton.

It is difficult to comprehend that we have been without Joel for almost a year now, but Barbury has been a beautiful place to go and feel close to him.

Joel gave us all so many cherished memories and some of them spent up at Barbury meeting up, going for a walk, to look at all the lights of the town or just for a chat and probably many other things I’m sure! It is a truly special place for many.

Over the past year many friends and family have been going up to place flowers on the fence and spend time to reflect and it would really be a perfect spot for a bench. To share a place to reminisce and to make it somewhere we feel has little piece of Joel.
