With great sadness we announce the passing of our IBEW Brother, Joel Saldana. After experiencing symptoms of COVID in late December, Joel succumbed to the virus on Friday January 22, 2021.
A native of San Jose, Joel graduated from Overfelt High School. Following distinguished service in the United States Army he returned home to start his family and career. He enrolled at the College of Industrial Repairs and began working at Meyer Appliance, moving on to become a Service Tech for General Electric for 5 years. In April 2019 he realized his dream of becoming an IBEW Inside Wireman when he was accepted into IBEW Local 332's apprenticeship program. A resident of Hollister, Joel leaves behind his wife and 3 year-old daughter.
Joel was a fine man with a bright future and we ask for your generous support of his family in their time of need. Thank you.
