A dear friend of mine, Joel Ryans (Boniface), lost his mom to Covid on Sunday (February 13th). She was the main caregiver for her daughter/Joel's sister (Kellie) who has down syndrome. Joel and his step dad are now not only facing the financial burden of a funeral, they also have to decide whether to sell the mobile home and find a new place to live and what to do about Kellie's care. Joel was also involved in a car accident in May of 2020 and his car is still not functioning properly. He is hoping to buy his mom's car if he can come up with the funding.
