It is with a heavy heart that I share that Joel Michael Kroger unexpectedly past away on the afternoon of February 19, 2022. He was a husband, a father, a grandfather, and a brother who loved his family more than anything. Joel was born and raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Marvin and Marylin Kroger. He married his High School Sweetheart Jo Dee Kroger, had 8 kids whom he adored and who would later make him the proudest and most loving grandfather to 11 beautiful grandchildren.
He loves the Lord, was a family man, loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, football, and music.
Joel Michael Kroger leaves behind a wife (Jo Dee Kroger), 8 children (Mary, Mara, Jessica, Angela, Marcel, Brianna, Aaron, Noah) and 11 grandchildren (Brylee, Jamison, Austin, Jayce, Breah, Josiah, Lilliana, Joshua, Raelyn, Halo, Koastin), and two sisters (Paula and Pam).
With all of the emotional pain and stress that this brings, it also brings financial burdens. We want to help alleviate some of the financial hardship for his wife, Jo Dee Kroger and their children. Please contribute any financial support you can in this time of need, and prayers are much appreciated.
“Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD,
And whose hope is the LORD.
For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters,
Which spreads out its roots by the river,
And will not fear when heat comes;
But its leaf will be green,
And will not be anxious in the year of drought,
Nor will cease from yielding fruit."
Jeremiah 17:7,8
As Joel would always say,
"All for one and one for all"
"We are so lucky"
