To all friends and family:

Joel Hutsell unexpectedly passed away on December 18, 2023, at the age of 58. In addition to his immediate family members, Joel leaves behind his only son, Cobi Hutsell, who he loved very much.

Joel was an integral part of the success of Georgia State University's former Division 1 wrestling team. He provided sound guidance and loyal friendship to a slew of incoming wrestling recruits throughout the program's tenure. Unfortunately, the program was dropped in the late 1990s. Joel considered members of the wrestling team to be his extended family.

To honor Joel's memory, we've created this fundraiser to benefit his son, Cobi Hutsell. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
