Help Joel Castro move to a Senior Home

Hi friends and family,

My name is Jocelyn Castro and my father, Joel Castro, is seeking help to pay for his medical expenses at the nursing home that he is currently living in and for future costs of moving to a board and care facility. In May 2022, he had a fall in which he fractured his hip and experienced a brain bleed. After recovering in the ICU, he was transferred to a nursing home and since then has been receiving therapy and long term care there.

His medical condition has stabilized, but he is still in need of full time caregiving due to vision and mobility impairments. He is now able to take a few steps with assistance, but mainly gets around in a wheelchair. It is our family’s wish to transfer him to a senior home where he can receive adequate care and improve his quality of life. We hope to move him to a comfortable place in Rialto, CA where friends and family can easily visit him.

He is currently on a fixed income which is not sufficient to cover a balance at his nursing home and for the deposit money to move him to the board and care. Any donation will greatly help our family pay for my father’s medical and living expenses.
