Joel's making great progress!

Hi , my name is Linda Mirkin and I'm fundraising for my son Joel.

On Nov 7th Joel David Mirkin was involved in a pedestrian accident and taken to the trauma center in Norwalk hospital where he recovered from very serious surgeries. He continues to recover and rehab with excellent care.

Three months ago, the small progress such as giving us a thumbs up that he could hear and understand us was a miracle. Now Joel is gaining upper body strength with the help of

2 amazing therapists.

Every facet of his recovery is considered by the Dr.s and nurses.

This has been a time that I have been able to be with him often. After working hard during the week, his favorite past time is a good movie. His attitude has been a positive one.

Thank you for the thoughts, prayers and support we have received. I look forward to his progress in the weeks and months ahead.
