Joel and Allison need their village!

Hello, my name is Lisa and I am honored to call myself a friend of these two amazing people. Anyone that knows them, is well aware of how generous these two are.

I've known Allison for over a decade now and I can honestly say I am a better person for knowing her. She oozes compassion, empathy and understanding and always finds a way to offer support to a friend in need and somehow manages to do it in the snippets of time she finds in her busy days of caring for 3 beautiful children (ages 10 months, 4 and 7). Especially Mama's... Allison believes in the village it takes to not only raise babes but to support Mamas in the all-giving journey of motherhood.

Through Allison, I've gotten to know her loving husband Joel and through his lens (quite literally, he owns his own web video production company) he does an extraordinary job at making sure everyone is taken care of both on camera, behind the scenes and at home. Joel has a big heart and it is his nature to make sure that everyone around him is taken care of. In fact, it is because of his heart that I am reaching out to you all. Joel experienced Myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle) in 2011 and he is experiencing it again now. He is currently in the hospital and unsure of how much his workload is going to need to shift while he recovers.

As a self-employed breadwinner of a family with three kiddos, Joel and his amazing partner in life, Allison need their village now more than ever! I know these two have gone above and beyond in the past helping out friends, family and people in their community and they sure could use your help now.

As you know, life doesn't stop when someone falls ill. Bills continue to roll in, food still needs to be purchased and eaten. While money can't solve all the world's problems, we all know that it certainly can take the pressure off of the day-to-day... and that certainly would take a load off of Joel's heart in knowing that he doesn't need to stress about his family's well-being.

No one likes to ask for money, it feels awkward and it's uncomfortable. That's why I'm doing it instead of Joel and Allison. Knowing that either one of these two would give you the shirts off their backs if you needed one, I'm hoping that if you are in a position to give, the Goundry crew would be incredibly grateful.

Thank you so very much for whatever you can offer to support this family.
