On Friday March 6th, 2015 Joe Heffner passed away in a tragic incident while working beneath his truck. He was soon to be on his way home to greet the family and take his son to one of their favorite auto events. Unfortunately, God had other plans for him that evening.
He was a loving husband and father to his wife (Rose-Kathy) and two children (Nicole and Nicholas). Joe was one of the most thoughtful and compassionate individuals around. So much so, those who knew Joe likely have been a recipient of his love and generosity at one time or another. At times, he may have been the one who was truly most in need but was always the first to offer the shirt off his back, the food from his plate, or perhaps often even the spare part at the race track. Aside from his family, spending time with cars was his passion. Whether for work or for play he was always fixing something with wheels.
Because Joe was the sole provider, the Heffner Family will be in great need with funeral and day to day expenses particularly over the coming year. Our hope is to make this painful transition as easy as possible for them. Please take a moment to share your love and support. As important as the money raised for the family is, your countless thoughts and prayers will also help guide them through this difficult time. Please help pass this site on to others by word of mouth and social media throughout the community and let's reciprocate the love and generosity that Joe has shown to others!
