Hey guys,
As most of you know, I have been living in the U.S. in Maryland for the past 3 years on a temporary work visa. Although these 3 years have been amazing, the visa process to renew my visa every year is very frustrating and expensive. This year I have decided to apply for a green card to allow me to be a perminent United States resident. This green card will allow to me to stay in the U.S. indefinitely and pursue both of my passions: teaching/performing Tap and working as an EMT for the fire department. This green card presents itself as the best option for me, however it is extremely expensive.
I was hesitent to make this Go Fund Me Page because I didn't want to seem as though I am begging for money, but, after speaking with people, they encouraged me to make a page. After looking into all of the expenses i will not be able to afford to take on the green card expenses myself. I want to continue my future in the U.S. and my current visa only allows me in the country for 1 year at a time. I cannot continue on this visa. Any help that you can give is greatly appreciated and will allow me to be one step closer to my goals :)
