Greetings friends! After 1.5 YEARS of testing I finally have a diagnosis & brain surgeon! Now.I just need to cross the finish line...
The doctor who FINALLY pushed things ahead is in L.A. and is NOT covered by insurance. I have to pay $500/hour to see him which is brutal. However, I should not need many visits to finish the job!
If you are willing to help, my family and I would be eternally grateful! I know many of you have ALREADY chipped in to keep us afloat while I had to leave my job. But hopefully this surgery leads to me returning to work!!!
The alternative to the L.A. doctor is waiting to get into NIH would could drag on another 9 months or so. Although NIH would be free, it is the loss of 9 months that concerns me. Cushing's Disease has the potential to kill me as I wait for treatment, so the sooner the better!
Proverbs 13:12 says, "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life."
