ETA: Joe was able to qualify for a state program that covers many of the costs so the final cost to his family is about $1200 and with the remainder of what we raise we would like to set up some kind of memorial in Milwaukee the following weekend. If we are able to raise enough funds, we would like to pursue a more lasting memorial such as a park bench or something that people could visit. Suggestions welcome.

Hi, Joe's mom has been pretty overwhelmed by everything and struggling to cover the cost of his cremation and a family viewing. She got a quote that this would cost $2600 and could use help paying for this. It would be nice to be able to set up some kind of memorial in Milwaukee but for now I would like to make sure that his remains are taken care of and that his mom is able to see him one last time. His mother is looking into options for planting him with a tree or sending him to space because these are things he had previously said he wanted.
