Yes, what you are all hearing is true... Joe Wood passed away in Yuba City on Sunday, January 3, 2021, at about 12 pm. I know that Joe has touched so many people's lives one way or another. We are reaching out to everyone that has expressed their condolences asking for support. As I am sure you all know Joe and I have been separated for several years. But just like when he was locked up just recently Jason and I made sure Joe was taken care of and had what he needed. We want to ensure that we can pay for his transportation, cremation, memorial services, death certificates, etc. We are in immediate need of about $2,000. The cremation costs start at $1,000 alone and that's just my preliminary research. I know that everyone has their own lives and families to take care of, but I am confident that you can assist us by passing up buying your scratchers or something else just once to donate even as little as $5. Joe over the years has been there to help each and every person he met the best way he knew how. Due to the circumstances surrounding his death, this was a huge shock to us and things move quickly with regards to cremation and services; Therefore we are in immediate need of these funds. His mother and I are driving to Yuba City this evening ( Tuesday, January 5, 2021) to start the process and sign the death certificate. So  I am asking everyone to please take a moment to think about how you planned to spend your money today and please donate anything you can as quickly as possible for me to be able to make these arrangements for Joe.
