Hello all!
I am setting up this account to help my bother, Joe, & his fiancee, Veronica. A fire started on the first story of their duplex while they were sleeping last night and quickly traveled upstairs to their apartment. The smoke woke them and they were able to get out safely and called 911. The fire department came and put out the fire, but the damages are more than they can handle. Veronica did a quick walk through taking video this morning to see how much could be salvaged. I watched the video and it looks like there won't be much that makes it. I tried to include that video here, but I cannot figure out how to do that. In an effort to get this posted as quickly as possible, I took a few still shots from that video.
The Jeep is completely gone (completely burned), & as of now I am unsure of what condition Joe's truck is in that has been out of commission waiting on title issues from the pervious owner. So they now have no transpostation along with their home & possessions in ruins. They are going to have to start from scratch... This is going to be a tough challange for them, but I am hoping that setting up this fund for them will help to lighten their load!
They are going to be looking for a new home and a new vehicle. This is a huge set back for them and not an easy task to recover from! Any help anyone can offer will be greatly appreciated!
