Hi, my name is Brianne Tyson. I am fundraising for my dad, Joe.

Many of you know Joe from your days at Seton Hall or hanging down at The Wharf. Maybe you were school chums at Seton Hall, SS Cyril & Methodius or St John the Baptist. You might have been neighbors growing up together in Deer Park NY or maybe you know Joe from the many golf tournaments he played in.

Joe is currently hospitalized on a ventilator in the Critical Care unit of Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas.

His children - myself and my siblings - are desperately trying to get him home to the East Coast.

We are facing monumental odds. Dad's condition is very medically complex and there is no network of support for him here in Texas.

I have been at his side since this began and it is through God's good grace and mercy that he has continued to improve!

Dad is not yet able to travel, and will need long term acute care here in Austin before we can transport him closer to family.

Dad asked me to reach out to his friends, neighbors and colleagues to humbly ask for your help.

We have been riding on faith and faith is carrying us. We know that community is the glue that holds humanity together and we need you!
