How do you write about your hero, mentor , your grandfather? As the oldest grandson, I've gotten a lot of things from my grandfather, knowledge , wisdom and the ability to see through clear lenses, as he was a thinking man.  He carried himself with  honor, integrity and the  heart of a survivor.  

Growing up he started out picking fruit, to becoming an engineer, working for NASA on the Apollo 1 mission. He is the families biggest inspiration. As a kid he gave me a saying "if I can go from the fruit to the stars, you can do anything you put your mind to."

On June 26th at 2:03 p.m. my grandfather Joe Seja Garcia  lost his battle with cancer he was he 79 years old  and diagnosed two months ago. He leaves behind a wife, 3 sons,  16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

So with a heavy heart, we ask if you can help our family send our husband/dad/grandfather from the fruit to the stars. Any donation, share or prayer is greatly appreciated.  We thank you kindly with love and respect,
