Joe Ruiz has been a hardworking handyman for many years. He is self-employed and recently, Joe suffered a life-altering accident while on the job. While working on a house, Joe fell off a ladder more than fifteen feet high. Joe was immediately rushed to the hospital, where doctors discovered a shattered ankle, a broken leg, and a broken back, leaving him unable to walk. While evaluating Joe further, doctors also found that he has a cancerous tumor on his kidney and a mass in his chest. This accident will have Joe out of work for a very considerable period of time. Joe has always been there to lend a helping hand to those who needed it, including me. Although he would never ask for it, Joe and his family are in need of some help. Anything at all would help greatly, as these are extremely difficult circumstances.
