Joe Rubalcaba's Medical & Finance Expenses

When my husband (Joe) and I (Vicky) gave ourselves to the Lord, 6 years ago, my husband was physically well from his health. One year after we gave our hearts to God, Joe got sick with pneumonia. This didn't stop him from going to work because he was a determined hard worker and didn't want to lose his job since he wasn't allowed time off from work, and wanted to provide for us and our kids (our youngest child is fourteen years old). He was never one to ask for help. So even when he wasn't feeling well he would go to work. This prolonged and it eventually caused his body to develop what doctors call Crest Syndrome. According to doctors there is treatment that can help, but this condition can't be cured. This disease attacks main organs but thankfully it has only attacked his lungs and didn't spread further. Joe went from weighing 230 pounds to 119 pounds within a year. He became very sick and was still working until July of 2016, when he no longer had the strength to climb up his work truck. Joe is dependent of others now for his self-care since he can't do most things on his own. Joe is in the hospital now, but has some appointments out of town (Nov. 28 & one in Dec.) that are for potential candidates for an emergency lung transplant that he is needing. We currently don't have the financial means to make those trips so we would like financial help from our family, friends, and generous donors who would like to help us get to his appointments and back home. We ask for your prayers and agreement in fasting for doors to open for our financial needs to be met for Joe's life-threatening situation. I feel that this financial help will help us lift some of the financial pressures that we are feeling and help ease some of Joe's worries. Regardless of what we have faced, we stand firm in our faith and trust in God. We declare this scripture verse over us "But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." Joshua 24:15.
