Hey everyone, my name is Daniel L. Rivera aka Danny Limelight in the world of Professional Wrestling. I am the writer and star of the 6x Award Winning Short Film "Joe Riv". "Joe Riv" was originally a short film I wrote, produced, starred inm performed my own stunts and coordinated everyone else's stunts. It was also Directed by Award Winning Filmmaker Mico Saad. We also worked with Hollywood Stunt Legend Nick Hermz (Transformers, Mr && Mrs. Smith, American Sniper, Scorpion King, Seal Team and many other hit movies. As of this writing it was Selected as a Finalist in the Action on Film Festival as well as the Hollywood Dreams Film Festival where it was also Nominated for several categories and won 6 awards for: Best Actor (Daniel L. Rivera as Joe Riv), Best Action Drama short, Best Drama, Best Short Film Over 10 minutes, Outstanding Cast and Best Movie Poster. It premiered on July 29th and we had the pleasure of having a Q&A with everyone who attended as well as other filmmakers in the industry.

We shot the film in one day during the Pandemic (July 2020) with an awesome cast and crew of local LA aspiring artists. We had a budget of $3000 going into production and raised another $2000 after

We had awesome success with the short film and are so proud of what it was able to accomplish. Because of this success we started to think, Imagine if we were able to tell the full story!

So here we are, Officially starting the fund raising to bring the Real "Joe Riv" story to life! With your help we can shoot a full feature length film and bring "Joe Riv" to a theater near you!
