Hello,

For 59 years Joe P has been a racetrack fixture. After assisting in the training of such horses as Crafty Prospector and Brunswick, Joe became a private clocker than NYRA clocker. At 79 years old, Joe P has helped almost everyone whose walked the racetrack in Florida and NY with his knowledge and guidance.

Joe almost lost his leg and life in a touch and go 7 1/2 hour surgery on November 9th at Long Island Jewish Hospital to remove multiple blood clots. Joe then had to undergo another surgery on November 16th to remove a large hematoma below his right knee.

Showing the grit and determination of someone far younger than his age of 79 years old, Joe is alive and will soon begin a long rehab in Glen Cove, NY.

He needs help from some of the thousands of people he has helped to pay his medical bills and begin his rehab.
