My name is Dana, I have come to this Platform to reach out in hopes to help offer Support to our Friend Joe Paonessa. We became close Friends while Working on - "Strange New Worlds Star Trek "

Unfortunately, in 2024 Joe suffered a Stroke that has left Him debited & a different Person.

We've all known Joe as the Happy go Lucky, big smiles, happy to see you Friend & Co-Worker. He is always ready to offer a helping hand, crack a joke to make you laugh, share a meal and tell ya a story. If you needed a Hair Cut, Joe was ready, scissors in hand.

Sadly, Joe is no longer able to hold His scissors (or comb through Hair). Joe's daily Life has become more about trying to recover and regain His mobility since His Stroke.

At this point, Insurance & Benefits have run out. Joe's Lifeline has been His supportive Wife Joanna. But everything takes it's toll. They are running out of resources.

Currently Joe has Listed their House for sale, trying to pull funds together to continue with Rehabilitation and Therapy. In this Market, the House will not sell quickly.

I created this GoFundMe hoping we could offer any financial assistance for Joe to keep going - Physically, Mentally & Financially. At least try to take away some added stress of financial burdens.
