Joe has been in Abington Hospital for the last six weeks. He is bedridden and has been suffering with Osteomyelitis. It is a serious bone infection and has immobilized him. His treatment and recovery is going to take an extended length of time. We are hoping he can be released from the hospital and be home with the family before Xmas. However, that is still to be determined by his doctors. He will need significant post hospital therapy to walk and get back to normal.
