Joe Mendoza Memorial Fund

On Saturday, October 23, 2021, my father, Joe Mendoza, passed away suddenly. Most people knew Joe as a father, neighbor, and friend, but many knew him from his time as a little league coach. Sports had a special place in our lives as a family, and many of the memories and relationships that we carry to this day were created through youth sports. In an effort to honor his legacy, the family has decided to create a fund to help support local underprivileged children participate in youth sports so that they can be afforded the same opportunities and experiences that we were. The family plans to utilize the funds raised by providing local underprivileged athletes with registration fees, cleats, bats, gloves, and equipment. Hopefully these funds will help many more players and coaches enjoy the experiences that meant so much to my dad and our family.
