In loving memory of Joseph Brian McGowan

Our brother, Joe McGowan, passed away very unexpectedly this last Sunday night. Joe was a beloved son, grandson, brother, uncle, godfather, nephew, cousin, teacher, coach, and friend. He was especially a loving husband to Jolene and a proud father to a baby girl due in July. Joe loved music, sports (especially the Padres, Chargers, and Notre Dame Fighting Irish), his middle school teaching job at Rancho Christian, his coaching job for the Eagles’ varsity team, his family, and his Catholic faith. Joe never hesitated to help others in whatever way he could, from his family, to our Sacred Heart Parish, his coworkers, his students, and everyone in between. He made an impact on so many lives during his own life, and we will all miss him very much. Because Joe’s loss was sudden and unexpected, we are starting this GoFundMe to help with any last costs, funeral expenses, and of course to then go to Jolene and their new baby. We so appreciate every prayer said for our brother, and all the love sent for our Joe and our family.
