Joe Mack's Fight Against Cancer

Hi, my name is Jessica, and I am here on behalf of my dear friend and co-worker Joe Mack and his family. I'm creating the Mack family fund for Joe, a husband and father who was diagnosed with colon cancer. The funds raised from this campaign will help support Joe’s fight against cancer and help cover the medical expenses from the cancer treatment and the subsequent medical emergencies he has suffered throughout this process.

Joe has been battling cancer on and off over the last 3+ years. The cancer was first discovered in the colon and has spread to both the liver and lungs. He is currently receiving chemotherapy. Recently Joe was rushed to the hospital with blood clots found in his legs and lungs. After spending seven days in the hospital, he is now home recovering.

Throughout this entire process, Joe has arrived at work with a smile on his face, a positive attitude and a willingness to do whatever is needed. He is constantly offering up his help to friends, whether working on their car or a home improvement project that needs his expertise. Joe is hardworking, dependable and most of all KIND. His friends would describe him as generous, loyal and funny. He has a beautiful family - wife, son & daughter who has been the best support anyone could ask for. You won’t meet a nicer person than Joe Mack.

This fundraiser is set up to help offset the cost of medical expenses, and the money raised will go towards medical bills that have been incurred over the past 3+ years. Joe is the kind of person that always gives 100% - on the ice, at work, to his friends and family. Let’s come together and help take some of the financial burdens off of the Mack family’s plate so he can focus 100% on his health and recovery.
