Joe Kelly, "Nurse Extraordinaire"
Donation protected
Joe Kelly was an amazing nurse in our community. He worked in many capacities as a nurse from dialysis, mostly known in the Emergency Room and most recently Home Health. He was the best preceptor to young nurses entering the ER and he would gladly accept nursing students under

his wing any day. He was a hard working man with a heart of gold. He worked with compassion for every patient he cared for and he always went above and beyond. He loved his work and he loved his patients even more. This man touched so many lives even with only one encounter, you would be left with a warm memory of him. "Get 'em coffee and make 'em smile," he would say. He would arrive early to visit patients in their homes just to sit and drink coffee and converse with those who were homebound and had little social outlet. Not enough can be said about how amazing Joe was, he touched so many people.
This GoFundMe was started in order to assist his family with funeral expenses and to help get his son, daughter and grandchildren to and from Michigan to be able to be apart of his services. Any amount is appreciated and will help with the financial burden his family has at this time.
